This Cookie Policy explains how INNORWEGIAN AS uses cookies and similar technologies on this website. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which covers our processing of personal data more broadly.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website asks your browser to store on your device. They are used to make websites work properly, to remember preferences, and in some cases to collect information about how a site is used.

Under section 2-7b of the Norwegian Electronic Communications Act (ekomloven), we are required to inform you about which cookies we use, and to obtain your consent for any cookies that are not strictly necessary for the website to function. Strictly necessary cookies do not require separate consent, but we still want to be open about them.

2. The cookies we use on this website

We have kept this website deliberately simple. We do not use analytics tools, advertising trackers, marketing pixels or social media trackers of any kind. There is no separate cookie settings panel on the site, because there is nothing optional to consent to.

The only cookies set directly through our own website come from Cloudflare, our hosting and security provider. They are strictly necessary to protect the site against bots and abusive traffic. They do not identify you personally.

You can block these cookies in your browser if you wish, but parts of the site may not work as expected.

3. Third-party services that may set their own cookies

A few features of the website are powered by third parties. Where those features involve loading a resource from a third-party server or sending data to one, that party may set its own cookies on its own domain — not on ours. We have chosen each provider carefully and only use them because they serve a clear purpose.

Google Fonts

We use fonts served by Google to display our typography. When your browser loads a page, it requests these font files from Google's servers, which means Google receives the IP address used to make the request. Google does not set tracking cookies through this service, but the request itself involves a data transfer. You can read more in Google's privacy policy.

Formspree

Our contact form is handled by Formspree. When you submit the form, the data you enter is sent to Formspree, who deliver the message to us by email. This only happens at the moment you submit the form. Formspree may set its own cookies during that interaction, as described in Formspree's privacy policy.

Calendly

Our "Book a call" buttons open Calendly in a new browser tab. Calendly is not embedded inside our pages, so no Calendly cookies are set unless you choose to follow one of those links. Once on Calendly, their own privacy policy applies.

4. How to manage and delete cookies

You can manage cookies through the settings in your own browser. Most browsers let you block cookies entirely, delete cookies that have already been stored, and choose how to handle cookies from specific sites.

Since this site only uses strictly necessary cookies, there is no separate cookie settings panel on the site itself. If you block the cookies above, parts of the site may stop working as intended.

Guidance for the most common browsers:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

You can also read more about cookies and your rights on the website of the Norwegian Communications Authority (Nkom) and the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).

5. Changes to this policy

If we add new tools or services that involve cookies — for example analytics, marketing tools or embedded video — we will update this page and, where required, ask for your consent before any such cookies are set. We will note any changes in the change log at the bottom of this page.

6. Contact

If you have any questions about our use of cookies, or about anything in this policy, please get in touch.
